My jeans felt a little tight yesterday, I must have gained 5 back.
I haven't been exercising this week. I have been concentrating on craft-sanity. Everynight I go to bed promising myself that I will get up and walk first thing (after coffee) BUT hasn't happened yet. Maybe tomorrow.
At the begining of my journey I was 254 pound. I was very very discusted with myself at the heaviest I have ever been. Now it is 2014 and I am down to 222 lbs and working hard to get my health back along with shedding pounds and setting a good example for my three young kids ages....11y/o daughter, 9y/o and 5y/o sons. It has come to my to my attention through this process how much my kids learn by watching me work towards my goals.

Time used wisely.
I finally did my circuit workout during my daughters Tae Kwon Do class at the Y. I kept finding flimsy reasons not to head downstairs and get busy. I felt so much better after my workout.
On the way to the Y I was terribly irritated and short tempered. After my workout, on our way to church, I laughed and giggled with my kids. I was in a much better place mentally and physically.

Field Trip to Cemetary
Well, my routine of exercise that I have been building has been derailed by the Third Grade Field Trip to the Texas State Cemetery.
Of course, I walked miles especially chasing my 2.5 year old who wanted to be anywhere but where I wanted to be. LOL Isn't how the little tikes are. Then we went to the Pease Park and sweated off a few pounds. Unfortunately, (for us), the play equipment was being renovated but fortunately for the next time it will be all spuced up. The kids did not really care they made up their own games and played in the open field like most of us did in our younger years. Turned out to be a beautiful day, quite warm by noon but a nice breeze blowing kept things comfortable.
Plan on taking the kids to swim tomorrow, hopefully I will get a few laps in at the YMCA.....Yeah, Right!
